High School Prospects

Week 5 brought another strong round of performances from our high school players, with continued production at the plate and quality outings on the mound. 

At the plate, Brody Alivo (17 Alivo / St. Thomas More) put together a strong week, going 9-for-15 with a double. Ethan Karmann (Kenosha Tremper / Senior) added a 7-for-14 performance that included three doubles and a triple, while Mason Hahn (17 Sobczak / Sussex) went 7-for-16 with 5 RBIs. Teammate Logan Langkamp (17 Sobczak / Sussex)also had a productive week, going 6-for-13 with 6 RBIs.

Several other players continued to swing it well. Ollie Corry (17 Sobczak / Arrowhead) went 5-for-9 with 2 RBIs and a triple, while Cole Pettijohn (16 Cardinal / East Troy) finished 3-for-7 with a double, home run, and 3 RBIs.

Owen McLellan (Shorewood / Senior) totaled 6 hits and 5 RBIs, and Ben Smet-Cooper (16 Cardinal / Westosha Central)went 5-for-10 with a double and a home run. Nathan Margoni (15 Cardinal / St. Thomas More) added 5 hits in 10 at-bats along with 4 stolen bases. 

On the mound, Nicholas Harris (17 Sobczak / Homestead) delivered a strong complete-game performance, throwing 9 innings while allowing just 1 run and striking out 4. Cooper Hall (16 Cardinal / Cedarburg) added 5 innings with 5 strikeouts, allowing just 1 run, while Ethan Rudolph (17 Alivo / St. Thomas More) turned in 6 scoreless innings with only 3 hits allowed. 

Youth Prospects

Week 5 brought another exciting week from our youth players, highlighted by explosive offensive performances and dominant outings on the mound. 

At the plate, Oscar Cataldo (10 Cardinal) had a huge week, going 9-for-13 with a triple and 11 RBIs. Sam Graf (10 Cardinal) stayed hot as well, finishing 10-for-16 with four doubles and 11 runs scored. Hunter Krahn (11 Cardinal) put together an impressive all-around week, going 10-for-16 with four doubles, a triple, and 6 stolen bases, while George Zvesper (11 Cardinal) delivered one of the top offensive performances of the week, going 5-for-11 with a double, triple, 2 home runs, and 10 RBIs. 

Several others added strong offensive performances. Tanner Schultz (11 Cardinal) went 8-for-14 with a triple, while Caleb McDonough (12 White) turned in a perfect 7-for-7 week with a double.

Dylan Brust (12 White) added a big power performance, going 4-for-6 with a double, 2 home runs, and 6 RBIs. 

On the mound, several players delivered quality outings. Rivers Kozik-Wolosz (14 AAA Cartagena) threw 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing just 1 hit while striking out 5. Diego Marin (12 Cardinal) added 4 scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts, while Kovas Baldukas (12 Cardinal) threw 3 innings, allowing just 1 hit and no runs with 6 strikeouts. Brady Hall (13 Cardinal) contributed 3 innings with just 1 hit and no earned runs allowed, and Jack Wians (14 Cardinal) struck out 6 over 2 innings while allowing just 1 hit. Jason Blaha (12 White) added 3.2 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. 

Our Prospects alumni continue to make an impact at the professional level, and this week featured a dominant performance from Nate Snead (Tri-City Dust Devils). Snead threw 6 perfect innings with 6 strikeouts to earn the win and was named the Northwest League Player of the Week!
