Job Opportunities

We are looking for individuals to serve as head coaches for our youth baseball teams ranging from 8U–18U at both our Franklin, WI and Pleasant Prairie, WI locations. The right candidates will have experience playing and/or coaching baseball and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the game.

Job Duties

Working spring and summer team practices, league games and tournaments as scheduled.

Coaching responsibilities include:

• Assisting with scheduling games and practices, and updating and communicating through TeamSnap.
• Managing statistics through GameChanger.
• Coaching games and tournaments following the PTA Way.
• Holding parents and players accountable to the player and parent code of conduct.
• Adhering to the coach’s code of conduct.

Education and Experience

• Coaching or playing experience at the high school level or beyond.
• Collegiate or professional playing or coaching experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to positively interact with players and parents.
• Dependability and availability for early morning, late evening and weekend work.
• High-energy, enthusiastic team player with the ability to motivate colleagues at every level of the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Working knowledge of travel baseball tournaments and rules.

Other Information

• 14U and under seasons run April 1 through July 31.
• 15U and older seasons run June 1 through July 31.
• Pay is determined based on experience and availability.
• Base rate paid in monthly installments during the season.
• Travel stipend included.
• Hotels provided when applicable.

• Working camps and lessons as scheduled and agreed upon.
• Coaching players following the PTA Way.
• Holding players accountable.
• Adhering to the coach’s code of conduct.

Other Information

• Fall practices are held on weekdays from 4:45–8:30 PM, beginning in mid-August and ending at the end of September.
• Camps are hosted during October, November–December, January–March and June–July.
• Camps typically run in four- to eight-week blocks.
• Instructors may provide lessons throughout the season.
• Pay is determined based on experience and availability.
• Base hourly rate based on experience.
• Revenue sharing for lessons.
• Revenue sharing for player-specific training.
