YOUTH BASEBALL COACH

We are looking for individuals to serve as head coaches for our youth baseball teams ranging from 8U-18U at both our Franklin, WI and Pleasant Prairie, WI locations. The right candidates will have experience playing and/or coaching baseball and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the game.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Working spring/summer team practices, league games and tournaments as scheduled.

  • Coaching responsibilities include:

    • Assisting with scheduling games, practices, updating and communicating through team snap

    • Managing stats through game changer

    • Coaching games and tournaments following the PTA Way

    • Holding parents and players accountable to the player and parent code of conduct

    • As a coach you will adhere to the coach’s code of conduct

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Coaching/Playing experience - High School Level or beyond

    • Collegiate or Professional playing/coaching experience preferred

  • Communication skills – strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to positively interact with players and parents

  • Dependability – available for early morning/late evening/weekend work - a commitment to working nights/weekends.

  • High energy, enthusiastic, individual with total team player orientation and ability to motivate colleagues at every level of the organization.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Working knowledge of the travel ball tournaments and rules

OTHER INFORMATION:

  • 14u and under seasons run April 1 - July 31

  • 15U and older seasons run June 1 - July 31

  • Pay to be determined based on experience and availability but includes:

    • Base rate paid over monthly installments during the season

    • Travel stipend

    • Hotels provided

We are looking for individuals to serve as instructors for our youth baseball teams ranging from 8U-18U at both our Franklin, WI and Pleasant Prairie, WI locations. The right candidates will have experience playing and/or coaching baseball and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the game.  

JOB DUTIES:

  • Working fall, winter and spring training practices as scheduled

  • Working camps and lessons as scheduled and agreed to

  • Coaching responsibilities include:

    • Coaching players following the PTA Way

    • Holding players accountable

    • As a coach you will adhere to the coach’s code of conduct

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Coaching/Playing experience - High School Level or beyond

OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Fall Practices are weekdays from 4:45-8:30p starting mid August and ending at the end of September

  • Camps are hosted in October, Nov-Dec., Jan-Mar and June-July

    • Typically in 4-8 week blocks

  • Instructors can do lessons throughout the season

  • Pay to be determined based on experience and availability but includes:

    • Base hourly rate based on experience

    • Revenue share for lessons

    • Revenue share for player specific

  • Instructors needed as follows

    • Rock/Mosh Performance Center - Franklin, WI

      • Mon-Fri 4:00-9:00p

      • Sat 8:00a-5:00p

      • Sun 8:00a-8:00p

    • RecPlex - Pleasant Prairie, WI

      • Tues-Thurs - 4:00-9:00p

      • Sunday - 1:30p-9:30p
