High School Prospects

Combining Weeks 7 and 8, this issue of PTA Weekly featured another outstanding stretch of performances from our high school players, with big offensive numbers and dominant
pitching outings throughout the past two weeks. 

At the plate, Ollie Corry (17 Sobczak / Arrowhead) put together one of the top performances of the issue with a 10-for-19 stretch with 7 RBIs. Jesse Sobczak (17 Sobczak / Catholic Memorial) continued his strong season, hitting 9-for-13 with two doubles and 6 RBIs, while Dom Walters (Franklin / Senior) went 7-for-16 with 7 RBIs and 2 home runs.  

Kingston Grisolono (17 Cardinal / Kewaskum) went 7-for-16 with three doubles, a triple, a home run, and 13 RBIs, and Grady Cheever (17 Cardinal / Germantown) contributed 6 hits, 6 RBIs, a double, and a home run.

Nicholas Harris (17 Sobczak / Homestead) stayed productive as well, going 7-for-12 with a double, while Mason Hahn (17 Sobczak / Sussex) reached base consistently, going 6-for-11 with 3 walks. 

On the mound, several players delivered dominant outings. Damian Kosempa (Marquette / Senior) was nearly unhittable, throwing 10 innings while allowing just 1 hit, no runs, and striking out 18. Cooper Hall (16 Cardinal / Cedarburg) continued his impressive two-way season, tossing 10 innings with just 4 hits allowed, 1 run, and 14 strikeouts. Carter Unger (16 Cardinal / Kewaskum) added 6 innings, allowing just 1 hit and no runs while striking out 9. 

Youth Prospects

Combining Weeks 7 and 8, this edition of PTA Weekly showcased another exciting group of performances from our youth players, with impact performances at the plate and on the mound. 

At the plate, Nolan Greig (13 AAA Kinziger) led the way, going 14-for-20 with four doubles and a triple. Alex Bogenshutz (11 White) continued his impressive summer, finishing 12-for-18 with four doubles, a triple, and a home run.  

Max Hoffman (11 Cardinal) filled up the stat sheet, going 11-for-16 with two doubles, 11 RBIs, and 9 stolen bases. Cal Lehnen (13 Cardinal) stayed hot at the plate, going 10-for-16 with a double, triple, and home run, while Caden Mickelsen (13 South) collected 12 hits in 20 at-bats, including five doubles. 

Several other players delivered strong offensive performances. Michael Harmon (14 South) went 9-for-15 with three doubles, Daniel Stepler (13 White) hit 8-for-12 with a double, two triples, and a home run, Diego Marin (12 Cardinal) went 10-for-18 with a double and 5 RBIs, and Beau Schur Jr. (14 Cardinal) finished 9-for-14 with five doubles and a triple. 

On the mound, several players turned in dominant outings. Ryan Jacobson (14 AAA Jacobson) struck out 19 batters over 11.1 innings while allowing just 2 runs. Cooper Hildebrand (13 White) threw 7 scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts, while Bryan Alivo (14 White) added 5 innings with 8 strikeouts and just 1 run allowed.  

Roman DeLaurier (14 Cardinal) tossed 6.1 scoreless innings, allowing just 4 hits, and Kam Ruppel (14 Cardinal) contributed 6 innings with 4 hits allowed and no runs. Julian Scheper (11 Cardinal) threw 5 innings, allowing just 1 hit and no runs, while Carter Mlachnik (13 Cardinal) added 4.2 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts. 

Nate Snead (Tri-City Dust Devils) turned in another strong outing, throwing 6 innings while allowing 8 hits, 1 run, and striking out 6.
